JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester and mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting MOT tests in addition to repairs and routine servicing on a broad range of cars and light commercial vehicles. No two days will be the same, and we see a diverse range of vehicles to suit all interests. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Excellent long term prospects for the successful candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic within the automotive industry
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during inspections or repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all tests are conducted thoroughly and accurately.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle testing are highly desirable.

    Pay: £32,739.00-£45,000.00 per year
