Richter Automotive are recruiting! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our team!
We are offering a basic salary between £30,000 and £45,000 depending upon skills and experience. As a Vehicle Technician you will work a 45 hour working week plus an over-performance bonus opportunity and an additional £1,000 in month 13 of your employment.
At Richter Automotive, we have been at the forefront of vehicle styling and performance modifications since 2006, specialising in Volkswagen Group vehicles. As the sole UK importer and distributor of ABT Sportsline products since 2010, we offer an extensive range of enhancements, including body kits, alloy wheels, suspension upgrades, and power upgrades. Our portfolio features strictly limited edition bespoke vehicles, such as the ABT RS6-R and ABT RSQ8-R.
Our team is dedicated to developing and working on exceptional vehicles, providing original equipment retrofits like reverse cameras, assistance systems, towbars, and security/tracking systems. We are committed to delivering high-quality individuality and precision in every project.
We are now looking to further expand the business by growing our general service offering. Many of our customers appreciate the specialist services we provide and want to entrust us with all their vehicle servicing and maintenance needs. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different vehicles while also being involved in unique specialist vehicle modifications. Our team will support you in building these skills and knowledge, giving you greater variety in your role.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or Level 2
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician with a proven history
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A pro-active attitude, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must in this busy environment
  • Ability to work confidently on their own and in a team environment

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service work and general repairs/maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles. Including but not limited to, routine servicing, brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts and chains. There will also be opportunities to work on the more specialised conversions we do on a variety of vehicles including the VW Transporters.

Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm – No weekends or Bank holidays
Experience: Minimum 4 years in vehicle repair and modification
