JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using various hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with clients to discuss repairs and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required in the role
• Previous experience in equipment repair is advantageous but not essential

Experience:

• MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN: 4 years (preferred)

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
• Carry out repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
• Assist in heavy lifting of equipment and vehicle parts during repair processes
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle’s condition and necessary repairs
