Amplify Energy Corp. is an upstream company focused on the acquisition, production and development of oil and gas properties in the United States. Amplify Energy is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Motorman to join our Beta Offshore Rig Team.   This position is located on an offshore oil platform in Federal waters off the coast of southern California working as an employee of the company, not as a drilling contractor, with all company benefits.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rig and platform equipment, including: 1. Engines and engine packages 2. Hydraulic systems 3. Compressors 4. SCR systems and related equipment 5. Mud pumps, mud tank systems, and rig skidding systems 6. BOP and BOP accumulator systems 7. Downhole production equipment and wellhead equipment   * Service equipment in accordance with company procedures, including lockout/tagout and permit requirements. * Conduct routine inspections to verify equipment is in safe operating condition and report deficiencies to the Driller and/or Toolpusher.   Rig Operations Support * Assist with rig-up, rig-down, and rig moving activities as directed. * Support nipple-up/down operations, BOP system operations, and equipment testing. * Maintain proficiency in multiple rig crew positions to assist with operational coverage during breaks or as needed. * Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and painting duties within assigned areas to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.   Maintenance Systems & Records * Record maintenance activities in the company’s computerized preventive maintenance system (e.g., Avantis). * Review and update PCARs and maintenance documentation as repairs are completed. * Monitor inventory levels of assigned spare parts and supplies and report shortages. * Maintain daily and weekly engine fuel usage and operating hour records and submit required reports.   Safety & Compliance * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Inspect and maintain PPE, safety equipment, and assigned rig equipment. * Immediately report equipment, well, or safety concerns to the Driller, Toolpusher, or designated supervisor.   Qualifications Education & Certifications * High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) * IADC WellSharp Well Control Certificate – Supervisor Level (required)   Knowledge, Skills & Experience  * Minimum 10 years of drilling rig experience * Prior offshore SCR rig experience preferred * Strong working knowledge of offshore oilfield rig operations * Ability to operate, service, and maintain mechanical and production-related equipment * Familiarity with industry safety standards and safe work practices * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Basic computer skills, solid math skills, and proficiency in reading and writing English   Physical Requirements: * Working outdoors in all weather  * Frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb * Ability to lift, push, pull up to 100 lbs * Frequently reach high and low places * Ability to see, hear, balance, and review job sites * Ability to stand and walk throughout work day * Ability to use repetitive hand/arm/leg movements * Able to pass swing rope certification to safely arrive to and from the platform and crew boat.    Crew Change: Long Beach, California Schedule: 14x14 Rotation, consisting of 12 plus hour work shifts, living on the platform during your entire hitch in shared living quarters This position description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
