We’re seeking a Movement & Storage Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex collection moves—especially large objects—as part of our ambitious redevelopment of IWM Duxford. Over the next decade, the site will undergo a major transformation, introducing new exhibitions, experiences, and facilities to better showcase the stories of the people who shaped its legacy. As Movement & Storage Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in preparing for the future IWM Lab, working closely with colleagues across collections, conservation, facilities, and curatorial teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Plan and manage large-scale collection moves aligned with Masterplan priorities.
Coordinate stakeholders and contractors to ensure safe, efficient relocation and storage.
Maintain project documentation and contribute to programme-level reporting.
Support tender processes and optimise storage systems.
Foster collaboration across departments and coach teams to deliver best practice.
