All employees of King’s College Hospital NHS Trust (KCH) are subjected to regulations as set out by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
This role is to act as a Subject Matter Expert for all things associated with Moving & Handling (MH) and develop the M&H Advisory service.
The MH Trainer will work collaboratively with as part of a multidisciplinary team, as directed by the Head of Health & Safety through the MH Lead Trainer.
A small friendly MH Team, working with the Trust Health & Safety Team, to provide mandatory training to all KCH staff, as well as to provide expert advice/opinion on MH to all staff.
This role is based in Denmark Hill but will require travel to all KCH sites.
To work with other MH trainers in the formulation and application of MH strategy.
To provide MH Training , Core-Skills Training Framework guidance and to support & develop the role of MH Link Workers , as directed.
To support the Trust Health & Safety Team as required.
Develop and implement M&H Advisory Service.
Assist in Inphase Investigations as directed.
Contribute to the production of relevant documentation, information and clear communications to support KCH staff.
