JOB DESCRIPTION

Description Mozzarella Supervisor
Summary: Ensures the Mozzarella department is operating properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Analyzes and evaluates information concerning daily operations and how these results positively or negatively affect department performance.
2. Ensures department is running in a smooth efficient manner, completes supervisor rounds as required.
3. Works with all departments to ensure proper adherence to GMP, GSP and QC policies and procedures and proper maintenance of equipment.
4. Suggest and debates alternative methods and procedures in problem solving procedure.
5. Completes all records and charting as required.
6. Meets regularly with shift supervisors and sanitation manager to stay informed about all issues arising in the department.
7. Performs administrative managerial duties in an accurate, timely and professional manner. (Phone calls, voice mail, paperwork, meetings).
8. Actively works on production floor to facilitate the exchange of data between various departments.
9. Maintains open communication with all employees including department managers.
10. Implements special projects and procedures as directed.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform a multitude of tasks.
• Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associate degree in business administration or dairy science preferred
• Knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel,Outlook.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.

  Pay: From $90,000 annually
  Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
