This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and leadership and delivering the expectations within the NHS England Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Inpatient Quality Transformation Programme. Through this programme, Rose and Laurel Wards, and their multidisciplinary teams which you will lead, will over time develop particular expertise in the treatment of people with autistic traits and/or intellectual disability who have acute mental illness. . Key Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of treatment strategies for individuals with complex mental health, intellectual disabilities, and neurodiversity needs, including autism.
Act as the Approved Clinician, managing clinical decisions, care plans, and assessments. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a high standard of care across all service areas. Participate in service development, policy implementation, and quality improvement initiatives. Deliver expert advice, supervision, and training to professionals and trainees
