THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a product security engineer with deep experience in defining, designing and implementing cyber security controls in a defence context, strong knowledge of systems engineering and solution architecture practices as well as superb team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. The successful candidate would have comprehensive awareness and practical experience applying product security engineering design practices, cyber governance risk and compliance strategies in a defence-industry, Operational Technology and Information Technology context.
The role is based at Boeing’s head office at 123 Albert St, Brisbane CBD with some occasional travel to RAAF Amberley and RAAF Woomera, SA.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • A systems engineering background with extensive experience with security and industry standards (e.g. ISM, PSPF, DSPF, NIST, ACSI).
  • Demonstrated experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering using digital modelling tools such as the Dassault Systems No Magic suite of products (e.g. Cameo Systems Modeller, Magic Systems of Systems).
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to collaborate, educate and influence within a multi-discipline team.
  • Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements
