We’re looking for MRL Senior Radiographers to join our new MRL service at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain exemplary professional standards and quality assurance in all aspects of patient care.
  • Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of MRI, understand MRI protocols and MR safety procedures that will ensure compliance of the radiotherapy department with national MRI safety regulations.
  • Ensure the safe and accurate administration of MRL treatments, including accurate documentation in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective liaison with relevant multi-disciplinary staff to ensure the provision of a high-quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the department.
  • Responsible for carrying out radiotherapy treatment processes as part of the pathway.
  • Meet the responsibilities as defined for an operator as delegated by HCA under IRMER regulations.
  • Provides relevant competencies to assess radiotherapy images as part of the radiotherapy pathway.
  • Operate MRL radiotherapy equipment in accordance with operational procedures ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
