As part of the Freightways Ltd group of companies, Med-X Healthcare Solutions is a rapidly growing company providing complete Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal and Hygiene & Washroom Solutions. As a Service Technician with Med-X, our clients vary widely as do our routes from week to week. Our role is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who is happy to work unsupervised with an interest in a diverse range of tasks such as driving, collections and customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving in the Sydney region and occasionally in the regional surrounding areas
• Delivery and collection of clinical & medical bins, sharps containers and related products
• Loading and unloading of your vehicle
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is maintained, safe and clean
• Complete all service paperwork
• Weighing and recording your vehicle’s load weights
• Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS

Key requirements:

• 1+ years driving experience
• Valid Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License with a clean driving record
• Previous commercial driving experience, multi drop preferred
• Strong Customer Focus
• Ability to use Smart phone technologies
• Ability to work independently, within a close-knit team environment
• Willing to work in both metro and regional area
• Willing start at varied and sometimes early times
• Safe manual handling skills
• Regular pushing and pulling of 660ltr bins
• May be required to lift 240ltr bins on double stack weight between 16kg - 22kg
• Hard-working, punctual, and reliable
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction
