Description Now Hiring: MRI/CT Tech Assistant & Front Desk Support (Full-Time) Location: Fleming Island, FL Join Our Growing Team at Precision Imaging Centers Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a motivated, patient-focused individual to join our Fleming Island team as a Full-Time MRI/CT Tech Assistant & Front Desk Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in medical imaging and patient care who enjoys working directly with patients in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment. The position will primarily support our MRI and CT departments while also being cross-trained to assist with front desk operations and patient registration. We are looking for a dependable team player with outstanding customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn. Schedule Options We offer flexibility based on the candidate's preference: Option 1: Three 12-hour shifts per week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Option 2: Traditional five-day workweek Flexible 8-hour shifts Hours may be adjusted based on department needs and candidate availability Position Overview This role provides direct support to our MRI and CT teams while helping ensure a smooth and exceptional patient experience from check-in through exam completion. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with patients, is comfortable multitasking, and has an interest in learning various aspects of outpatient imaging operations. Primary Responsibilities MRI & CT Tech Assistant Duties Assist MRI and CT technologists with daily workflow and patient preparation Escort patients throughout the imaging process Prepare exam rooms and maintain department organization Assist with patient screening and documentation Support patient positioning and comfort measures Maintain cleanliness and stocking of imaging areas Provide exceptional patient service throughout the visit Front Desk & Patient Support Duties Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner Register patients and verify demographic information Answer phones and assist with scheduling-related inquiries Collect and process required documentation Support overall front office operations as needed Help maintain a welcoming patient environment Qualifications Prior healthcare experience preferred Customer service, hospitality, medical office, or patient-facing experience needed Experience with IV placement and/or medication administration is preferred but not required, will train the right candidate MRI, CT, radiology, medical assistant, EMT, patient care, or similar healthcare experience is a plus Training Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Candidates will receive cross-training in MRI/CT support functions as well as front desk operations.
