You’ll work three 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) each week — and enjoy one of the best perks of night shift life: on-site leased parking, no shuttle required! What You’ll Do As an MRI/CT Tech Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow for our imaging technologists. Your day-to-day will include: Welcoming and preparing patients for imaging exams, assisting with paperwork, and ensuring accurate documentation. Escorting patients to dressing areas and helping them feel comfortable and informed. Conducting MRI safety screenings and assisting with patient positioning, padding, and setup under the direction of a technologist. Assisting with IV placement and preparing contrast materials as directed. Supporting patient transfers to and from exam tables and monitoring patients as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including assisting with equipment checks and daily quality control. Transporting patients and ensuring rooms are properly prepared for the next procedure. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one-year of previous healthcare experience required. Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred. IV insertion experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
