In this role, you’ll work three 12-hour night shifts per week and enjoy the convenience of onsite parking with a lease as a night employee. Consistent 3-night shift schedule (12-hour shifts) Onsite parking at UPMC Presbyterian Hands-on experience in CT Build your skills while supporting expert technologists in a fast-paced environment What You’ll Do Welcome patients, assist with paperwork, and answer questions Escort patients to dressing areas and assist with preparation Conduct MRI safety screenings and review with technologists Assist with patient transfers and positioning for scans Establish IV access and help prepare/administer oral contrast (under supervision) Monitor patients during exams and provide discharge instructions Support daily quality control checks and report equipment issues Clean and prep exam rooms, transport patients, and keep the department running smoothly High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one-year of previous healthcare experience required. Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred. IV insertion experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
