Description
Able to provide leadership and takes initiative in representing the FLA MRI Department regarding safety. Will represent MRI Department on various department, enterprise, and institutional committees. Coordinate and collaborate with radiologist, physician leaders, MRI physics team to implement and continuously improve the MR safety environment. Lead safety initiatives and provide education that can lead to the safe consistent operation of the entire MCF MRI fleet, located in several distinct locations serving outpatient and inpatient diagnostic and procedural exams, and research studies. Work with and support medical professionals, clinical divisions, and operating units in identifying and rectifying education needs regarding MRI Safety. Communicate effectively and be able to lead individuals and/or multidisciplinary teams in the accomplishment of MRI safety goals and objectives.
