Get to Know Your Team: Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo. Responsibilities The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a radiologist to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. This position ensures patient safety and comfort, maintains accurate records, and complies with all safety protocols, including those specific to the MRI environment. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program. ARRT (R) certification. MRT License from the Texas Medical Board. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Preferred Job Requirements: 1-2 years of MRI Experience. Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
