Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, swing bed care, 16 physician offices, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility. Responsibilities Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in an approved school of radiologic technology. ARRT registered in MRI within 18 months of hire (Director/Coordinator discretion allowed). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI procedures as normally required in these areas. 2 to 3 years as a diagnostic technologist.
