Responsibilities Preparing examination room and equipment Explaining procedure to the patient to ensure understanding and comfort Operating MRI machine according to established procedures Operating within radiologic standards of care Taking the necessary steps to avoid undue exposure to radiation Opportunity to cross train into other modalities (X-ray, CT) *** 1 year commitment required for the sign on bonus Requirements Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Experience in CT and X-ray preferred. Graduate of Accredited Imaging School. Must have BLS certification

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include preparing the examination room and equipment, and explaining the procedure to the patient to ensure their understanding and comfort. The technologist must operate the MRI machine according to established procedures and radiologic standards of care while taking steps to avoid undue radiation exposure.
