Description
The MRO Planner assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory information in the database. This person will work closely with receiving, warehouse and production material handlers; cycle counter and incoming inspectors to make sure all transactions are processed correctly. In this function, you will: Pull reports from Mapics and Power BI to analyze and identify negative inventory, discrepancies or any issues impacting the data health in PCD Warehouse. Identify the root cause, work with everyone involved to find a solution, fix transactions and implement processes to avoid having the same issue in the future. Keep track of the progress of all activities. Document every root cause and new processes implemented. Create warehouse locations in Mapics. Receive tools and add new items to the inventory database. Issuing items to the users, including registration of associates and maintain record of replacing material. Organizing tool crib, including assigning, and creating new location inside of the room. Purchasing and replenishment items, this includes getting quotes from vendors, placing POs in Versatex or updating minimum and maximums levels. Effective and timely communication with Management about any problem or concern. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Customer Service attitude, organized, analytical, strong attention to details, punctuality, problem solving mindset. Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain. AS400, Power link, Excel, Versatex, Power BI, Microsoft office. Manufacturing and Supply Chain knowledge. 6 months of Warehouse, Manufacturing or Operational support experience.
