· Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer withmin. 15 years’ experience
· Excellent organizational and planning skills

· Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills
· In-depth knowledge of all Maintenance Manuals,Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
· In-depth knowledge of Aircraft TechnicalDocuments and Parts
· Proficient use of Lawson M3 system, My BoeingFleet, Microsoft Office, and other current office technology
· Ability to work under pressure whilemaintaining a high degree of accuracy and detail
· Flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities:

GENERALACCOUNTABILITY:

The MROPlanner reports to the MRO Planning Supervisor in Business Development andworks closely with the Contract Leads assigned to a Customer. The MRO Planner is responsible for supporting all new customerrequests for quotes& confirming capacity requirements and operational capabilities.
The MROPlanner ensures the SOW is clarified and accurate estimates are developed for contractbids.
Once thequote is issued and accepted, the MRO Planner hands the package off to theappropriate Superintendent and Operational (Hangar) Planners for execution.

SPECIFICACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Work with customers & contract leads to gain a complete understanding of all project requirements.
  • May participate in ad hoc bid development teams comprised of key stakeholders.
  • Analyze Customer SOW and work packages to determine an accurate cost estimate for the check, including materials and labour hours required.
  • Act as a communication link between the customer, Project Supervisor, Hangar Superintendent or YHM Base Manager, during estimating / quoting stage
  • Work with YLW Heavy/Line Maintenance Manager or YHM Base Manager on requirements for maintenance slots, hangar space, and manpower hours and resources required for potential projects.
  • Develop Sizing sheets from internal quotes and liaise with Contracts Administrator.
  • Recommend Modifications to standard project timelines with respect to projects and works with Project Supervisor, Hangar Planner and Hangar Superintendent or YHM Base Manager to ensure that contractual requirements are met.
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates to Contract Leads.for new and continuous projects May also provide timely and accurate responses directly to customers..
  • May present check packages to customers, including anticipated costs and time allocations assigned; and make revisions as required.
  • Participate in action plans to address and resolve work scope changes/problems by liaising with YLW Heavy/Line Maintenance Manager and designated Hangar Superintendent or YHM Base Manager.
  • Assist team members and YLW Heavy/Line Maintenance Manager or YHM Base Manager as required.
  • Communicate and present customer feedback internally.
  • Contribute to post-RFP submission reviews to improve process for future inputs.
  • Improvefuture quotes by updating Planning database as new information is received.
    AssistDirector of Business Development with any other duties or projects asapplicable
