Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Technician to join our growing Operations team in Staverton.
Whilst this role will initially be based at our Staverton facility, it will move to our new MRO site in Tewksbury in the near future. Candidates must be happy and able to travel to Tewksbury as well as Staverton.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for fault-finding, repair, overhaul and test of hydraulic and pneumatic components and sub-assemblies. You’ll utilise CMMs (Component Maintenance Manuals) to ensure instructions are followed with full traceability of components and activities.
This position is full time, working 37 hours per week (8 hours Monday-Thursday and 5 hours on a Friday). We operate a flexible start time, meaning you can start between 7am-9am each day.
What you’ll already have
You’ll ideally either have experience within MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), or you could have worked as an Assembly & Test Technician, Assembler Tester or Fitter or within the Aerospace industry previously.
You’ll have completed a time-served apprenticeship or be qualified through substantial experience. You’ll need to demonstrate experience in utilising written instructions to build and test hydraulic electrical or mechanical components and parts within close tolerances.
