Description Quality Aircraft Accessories (QAA) overhauls and distributes piston engine and limited airframe accessories from its locations in Tulsa, OK and Ft. Lauderdale, FL to a worldwide customer base of over 25,000 pilots and mechanics. As a Hartzell Aviation company, we provide complete life cycle support for the full line of Hartzell Aviation products including turbocharging systems, aircraft alternators, starters, fuel pumps and cabin heating solutions. Key Responsibilities Stocks, receives, and issues cores, material, or supplies by performing the following duties. Key Deliverables of the Position • Receives parts, cores, and supplies by count and vendor/customer • Counts material, cores, and supplies in stock as required. • Must be experienced in the safe operation of forklift trucks and other types of material handling equipment. • Performs computer transactions to receive and issue material and cores in coordination with physical receipt or movements of inventory. • Supports production lines assigned through providing materials and cores at the required levels daily. • Processes and physically disposes of scrap material • Disassembly cores from stock • Other duties maybe assigned. Requirements Required Education and Experience High school diploma and/or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift operation required. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
