Position Summary The DSD Food Route Sales Representative is a DSD (direct store delivery) representative delivering, stocking, ordering, and merchandising prepared food products to assigned routes. Requirements Responsibilities Drive box truck for customer deliveries Maintain inventory on the route truck Maintain customer relationships Order product for assigned accounts Deliver and merchandise products for assigned accounts Handle any credits per company guidelines Handle any customer payments per company guidelines Ensure that the assigned delivery truck is maintained per the preventative maintenance schedule Communicate regularly with assigned leadership regarding assigned accounts Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties at any time. Education, Experience and Skills Required Customer service experience Good Driving Record Able to pass a government background check Loading and unloading product High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to push up to 35 pounds. Must be able to pull up to 35 pounds. Sitting for long periods while driving, general bending and twisting associated with lifting.
