For this role, we are looking for a Junior or mid-senior profile who will manage the existing Azure environment, running some standard operational tasks and some windows servers. Your responsibilities will include: Tenant & Infrastructure Management General management of the Azure tenant and resources Remote monitoring & management of virtual machines, networking, and resource health Load balancer administration Azure Site Recovery (ASR) management Azure Backup validation and data recovery execution Execution of CIS security scripts on newly created servers Monitoring & Incident Response Monitoring of server health (CPU, memory, disk space) and alerting Monitoring of core applications and incident escalation Troubleshooting of network connectivity issues Security incident response for Priority 1 events Monthly security reviews based on vulnerability scan reports provided by the client Patch & Maintenance Management Monthly Windows updates including .NET patches and IIS log clearing, following the established schedule SQL log shipping and SQL Server maintenance tasks (baseline scope) File server OS support, capacity expansion, and disk addition Web server OS support and certificate renewals Change Management Execution of validated Azure changes (e.g. server provisioning, resizing, SKU changes, storage expansion) Installation of required monitoring agents/tools (Menzies suite) on new servers AVD session clearing (daily, partially automated) Support for new AVD provisioning and application publishing as needed Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., virtual machines, networking, storage). Understanding of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022). Familiarity with virtualization concepts (Azure, Hyper-V, VMware, etc.). Basic experience with monitoring tools and alert systems (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar). Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues (DNS, firewalls, routing, etc.). Understanding of backup and recovery concepts. Basic PowerShell knowledge (e.g., running scripts, modifying parameters). Familiarity with IT security principles, including vulnerability management and incident escalation. Candidates must provide a criminal record extract that is no more than three months old.
