Background: Our Public Sector Client will be onboarding and/or migrating several clients from Microsoft Exchange On-Premise to Exchange Online (EXO) in Microsoft Office 365, as well as planning and executing the upgrade of on-premise Exchange Servers to version 2019 and the forthcoming Exchange Subscription Edition, slated for release later this year. To support these efforts, we are seeking senior, experienced technical specialists with extensive experience in enterprise email operations (Exchange). The correct candidate will be Secret (Level II) cleared, and will be performing hands on keyboard console work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must already have an active Secret (Level II) clearance, no exceptions.
  • Extensive experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades and patching, implementation and management of email policies, security protocols, and compliance measures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Exchange architecture, including hybrid, on Prem, and online (ExO) deployments.
  • Previous experience with government clients would be an asset.
  • 10+ years using PowerShell.

Responsibilities

EXPECTED TASKS:

  • Exchange migrations, upgrades and patching, implementation and management of email policies, security protocols, and compliance measures.

  • 2016-2019-SE Exchange Upgrades
  • Exchange Migrations from legacy on-Prem platforms to ExO
  • Collaborate closely with Clients and Department Teams (Email Operations, Cybersecurity, Support, Technical Architecture, Business, Project Managers etc.) on all related activities
  • Implement and enforce security policies as per government standards.
  • Participate in designing and deploying Exchange Server solutions, including on Prem and hybrid configurations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to projects that require Exchange expertise.
  • Manage and optimise Exchange Online platforms.
  • Work together with the support team to address user-reported issues and provide L2 and L3 Support.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis to avoid future occurrences.
