An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse to become part of the Neurology service as an MS infusion nurse. Currently based at Nevill Hall Hospital
The Unit is Nurse Led and looks after patients with an MS diagnosis.
If you are a dynamic nurse who wants a new challenge in a unit that puts patient care at the forefront please get in touch.
You must have cannulation, venepuncture and IV medications training to commit to this role.
The role is for 22.5 hours per week to the needs of the service with no nights, weekends or bank holidays.
The base location of this job maybe subject to change to The Royal Gwent Hospital Newport.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MS Nursing Team which is part of the Neurology Directorate. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join us in providing care and support to our patients receiving infusion-based treatments. The role is patient facing and requires proficiency in cannulation, venipuncture and intravenous therapies. There is an administrative component to the role which receives enquires via telephone and email, along with assisting with the monitoring of laboratory results.
The role of the MS infusion nurse to both patients and the MS team is integral in comprehensive care.
You will need to be prepared to work on any of the hospital sites within the Trust if required.
