Responsibilities:
SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft Purview Administrator for our customer, to lead the configuration, testing, and management of data governance and compliance policies within the Microsoft Purview portal. This role involves developing and testing policies, managing role-based access controls, and ensuring secure and efficient data handling across the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration including testing, developing and testing policy, creating roles and assigning user roles.
• Must be able to commute to Beltsville, MD or Washington, DC for full-time onsite work.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 compliance solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• US Citizenship with a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with InTune
• Microsoft certifications

ROLE & ACCESS MANAGEMENT

• Create, modify, and manage role groups and custom roles within the Purview portal.
• Assign users and groups to appropriate roles.
