Description
Establish and align EBS Pull priorities and annual CI plans with division, plant leadership to support strategic flow-down and High 5 performance. Facilitate cross-plant Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions to identify and implement strategies that eliminate non-value-added activities. Ensure completion of annual self-assessments at each plant, identify maturity gaps, develop action plans, and monitor progress. Monitor plant-level CI performance and plans; lead regular reviews and identify improvement opportunities. Coach and mentor site leadership and CI teams in ECIS methodology, including planning, execution and problem solving tools (e.g., BPI, TPM, Six Sigma, etc.) Lead Rapid Improvement Events (RIE)/Kaizen teams and ensure timely completion of high-priority projects. Facilitate ECIS training programs for multiple levels of the organization as needed and per requirements. Support strategic initiatives and special projects across Corporate, Industrial Sector, and Aerospace Group. Establish and lead VSM-based CI council to share best practices, build SME networks, and solve supply chain challenges. Build CI capability by recruiting and developing leaders, contributing to development plans and succession planning. Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, math or technical field from an accredited institution Minimum 7 years experience in CI, including experience in a high mix / low volume business OR low mix/ high volume business Work experience in different functions within a manufacturing organization Demonstrated knowledge of CI methods, systems thinking and daily manufacturing management, strategic management and project management Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing methodology and roadmaps. M.S. degree or MBA Led 50 Kaizen Events Experience in developing lean CI strategy globally Strong interpersonal and planning skills with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities. Can effectively and comfortably speak to different levels of the organization; senior leaders to the factory floor. Travel 50-75%
