RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS JOB ROLE

• Provide a high standard of physiotherapy musculoskeletal assessment, treatment and caseload management in the Physiotherapy Outpatients Department to people with a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic problems.
• Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations / multi pathologies; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition.
• Assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and have capacity to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
• Formulate accurate prognoses and recommend the best course of intervention, developing comprehensive discharge plans.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

· Physiotherapy Qualification and UK experience mandatory
· HCPC registration mandatory
· At least 3 years’ experience as a MSK Physiotherapist
· RiO training desirable

IN ADDITION TO EXPERIENCE, ALL QUALIFIED ROLES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF
