Process: Other Job Title: Data Analytics Level: Associate Position: 2 Role summary: Data Analytics role, you will support Finance Analytics by extracting and consolidating financial data for Tax and Regulatory Reporting, working closely with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to optimize cash flow processes such as payments, reconciliations, and asset safeguarding. You will gather data from various sources including platform data, external institutions, market data, and internal systems and transform it into actionable insights through advanced data models and pipelines, enhancing analytics for cash flow understanding and driving data-driven financial operations. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and other Finance teams to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data. Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize and streamline financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive new initiatives that support product launches and business growth. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality data pipelines and financial data models that power internal dashboards and reporting tools. Define and enforce data quality standards, including building automated checks and contractual data quality enforcement mechanisms. Identify and troubleshoot issues in ELT pipelines, and refactor SQL and Python code to improve performance, reliability, and data integrity. Deliver smaller projects (e.g., automation tools, Slackbots, test suites) independently and collaborate on larger projects with cross-functional guidance. Act as a strategic partner to functional teams by designing project plans, executing solutions, and implementing robust data and reporting frameworks. Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to improve platform scalability through system enhancements and automation. Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to present complex financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Contribute actively in team meetings by providing feedback, suggesting improvements, and sharing best practices. Help define data models, contracts, and frameworks to support ongoing scaling and performance needs of financial data systems. Maintain documentation for data processes, pipelines, quality checks, and project workflows to foster transparency and knowledge sharing. Stay updated on industry trends, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data capabilities within Finance. Support audit and compliance activities by ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and governance alignment. Required qualifications: 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data processing (ETL), or related roles. Strong proficiency in writing clean, understandable SQL queries and Python scripting. Solid experience building and maintaining data pipelines. Basic knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and data architecture best practices. Experience working with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration systems. Strong understanding of key finance principles and products within Accounting and Treasury domains, with eagerness to learn. Ability to independently create documentation for data projects and requests. Self-starter with strong multitasking skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated cultural alignment: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, ownership mentality, and efficient execution. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated increasing knowledge of the company’s data engineering tooling. Experience leveraging local Airflow environments and testing tools within an efficient workflow.
