Process: RTR Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Level: Associate Position: 1 Role summary: The Regulatory Reporting Analyst prepares and supports regulatory filings, analyzes financial and regulatory data for accuracy and compliance, collaborates with cross‑functional partners to resolve reporting issues, supports development of regulatory reporting policies and procedures, and responds to auditor and regulator inquiries. Key responsibilities: Prepare and support the submission of U.S. and international regulatory filings and related regulatory capital metrics. Analyze financial and regulatory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Data Science) to investigate and resolve issues that arise during report preparation. Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of regulatory reporting policies, procedures, and desktop documentation. Respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors and assist during regulatory examinations. Drive process improvement initiatives to simplify, standardize, and streamline reporting workflows and strengthen internal controls. Assist with reporting platform maintenance and optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Required qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in regulatory reporting, public accounting, or financial services. CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with reporting tools or ERPs such as NetSuite or similar platforms. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications: Experience preparing or supporting specific regulatory filings (e.g., FFIEC 051, NMLS Money Services Business Call Report). Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) or similar regulatory/reporting platforms and with automating/reporting workflows. Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL) and experience working with large datasets. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Experience interacting with regulators and supporting regulatory examinations. Prior experience in a financial services or multi‑jurisdictional reporting environment is a plus.
