JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MSP Procurement Specialist with a strong background in IT procurement and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Pax8, Quoter, and ConnectWise, and a proven ability to optimize procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of IT products and services for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a procurement role within an MSP environment.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of the Microsoft Partner Program, including partner incentives, solution designations, and co-selling opportunities.
  • Demonstrable expertise with Pax8, including ordering, subscription management, and vendor portal navigation.
  • Strong proficiency in using Quoter for creating, managing, and sending quotes.
  • Solid understanding and experience with ConnectWise for service, project, and asset management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, and services, from requisition to delivery.
  • Utilize Pax8 for cloud solution procurement, subscription management, and vendor interactions.
  • Leverage Quoter to generate accurate and timely quotes for clients, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Integrate procurement activities with ConnectWise for service ticket management, asset tracking, and project coordination.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify new products, technologies, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and finance teams to understand client needs and align procurement strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the procurement function.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, vendor performance, and cost savings.
