POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Desk Technician role will produce raving fans by supporting our clients from all industries. They will provide technical hardware, software, and network support in a high stress, fast paced environment through remote support, chat, and phone calls.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in MSP environment
  • A+, Net+, Sec+, MCSE or other certifications preferred

KNOWLEDGE

  • MSP Help Desk experience is a must
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage or similar PSA
  • Experience with Datto or similar RMM
  • Experience with ITGlue or similar documentation software
  • Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS Operating Systems
  • Apple iOS and Android Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Experience with wide varity of business applications
  • Multi Factor Authentication
  • Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESX
  • Knowledge of VOIP systems
  • Understanding of TCP/IP/DNS, DHCP, and VLANs

  • Answering incoming phone calls and service tickets and working them to resolution
  • Following up with users to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Escalate tickets to senior technicians
  • On boarding and off boarding users and workstations
  • Server and workstation support including installing and updating software and troubleshooting errors
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Printer, scanner, and VOIP support
  • Documenting resolutions and creating end user instructions
