About this opportunity Ericsson Hungary is looking for an MTAS Characteristics Architect. MTAS (Multimedia Telephony Application Server) is a core element of the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). It executes services such as 3GPP defined Multimedia Telephony Service and Supplementary Services (MMTel) and supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) including Service Centralization and Continuity (SCC). The Characteristics and Dimensioning team analyse the performance requirements of new features and maps them to KPIs. They provide a predictive model of the system and features, based on specific test results, and verify the product's hardware resource needs. The team is responsible for Characteristics performance requirements like QOS (Latency, System Availability), Efficiency (Resource utilization, Dimensioning), Reliability (Stability, Robustness). As a characteristics Architect you will do Measure and analyse software features to assess performance, reliability, and scalability. Identify and document key characteristics and dimensioning metrics. Constantly learning about newly developed features, create predictive models based on their documentation. Review and enhance documentation related to the new features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Provide data for sales related activities through tools and documentation. Proactively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in MTAS software architecture from characteristics ~~,~~ and dimensioning perspective, get familiar with new telco protocols, solutions Handle Cloud Native and Virtual Track MTAS characteristics and dimensioning activities You will bring Proven experience in software performance analysis and optimization. MTAS/IMS and architectural knowledge Familiarity with protocols (e.g. SIP, Diameter etc) Strong understanding of software architecture principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies. Exceptional communication and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
