Description

OnSemi is seeking a Senior MTS Analog design Engineer, NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, Power Management, to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. This group is responsible for development of Power management products including SiC drivers, MOS/IGBT drivers, LED drivers, smart Switches and efuses for consumer, industrial and automotive applications. In this role, you will focus on the following Mentor a diverse team of experienced and junior Analog IC design engineers Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout Work with systems engineers, application engineers and marketing assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creation Define IP test plan and execution working along with product and test engineer. Define and develop IP for both industrial and automotive applications Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production Interface and lead discussions with the customer and/or ONsemi field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as required Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leader Lead, motivate, provide technical mentorship to the team Collaborate with overseas design and systems teams on technical aspects, IP development, sharing of know-how Provide technical leadership in driving architecture design and circuit design based on high-level specifications Own technical outcome of design, verification, implementation, and execution of given products with complexities at the SoC level Understand project goals, create a realistic schedule and resource plan, track execution schedule to plan, monitor progress, and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives #LI-RG1 onsemi (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
