Title: MTS IV, Software We’re looking for a strong Python engineer who can build cloud-native services on AWS and support the modernization of our legacy Airline Gateway platform. Most of the work is in Python and AWS, but you’ll also need the ability to read and understand existing C++ code so you can work with older modules during migration. If you enjoy solving engineering challenges, moving systems to the cloud and working on a mix of new and legacy components, this role will suit you well. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Build backend services and APIs using Python. Design and develop cloud-native components on AWS. Understand existing C++ codebase to support integration, debugging and migration. Help move SOAP-based services to modern REST architectures. Work with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM and CloudWatch. Contribute to containerization, CI/CD and automation efforts. Improve performance, reliability and monitoring across systems. Collaborate closely with product, QA and platform teams. . Qualifications Requirements: Strong backend development experience with Python. Good hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Ability to read and understand C++ code (no heavy C++ development required). Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices and cloud-native design. Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps workflows. Experience with any Python framework like Flask, FastAPI or Django. Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases Nice to have Experience in migration or modernization projects. Exposure to serverless, Kubernetes or Terraform. AWS certifications.
