A deep appreciation for secure coding concepts and a solid understanding of encryption technology are essential. You must be a self-starter that collaborates well in a small team of highly motivated engineers. You must be willing to participate in debug that extends far beyond your official development responsibilities as issues often require deep, companywide cross-collaboration.

THE ROLE:
AMD’s Server Core Firmware team is looking for a firmware engineer to architect, develop, and debug firmware solutions for the AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization feature. The engineer will develop new firmware and testsuites for new processors, collaborate with customers and partners on new initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and align efforts across engineering teams and business units within AMD. Secure Encrypted Virtualization is a cornerstone security feature in the AMD EPYC processor providing unparalleled security to AMD’s end customers throughout the world.
