This position primarily focuses on controls and electrical systems (E&I). What we need from you: * Have extensive working knowledge of the tasks required to perform on all phases of electrical work and design build.  * Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, update and repair industrial control systems and power distribution systems including electric motors, motor control devices, variable speed drives and PLC’s. * Calibrate and tune Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) * Working knowledge of motor control circuits * Ability to use electrical meters to test and troubleshoot electrical problems. * Install ridged conduit and duct, etc. * Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals, diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic. * Effectively troubleshoot and repair, both electrical, mechanical, and piping issues * Exercise sound judgement and discretion in decision making in all phases of responsibility. * Record and maintain accurate equipment files such as maintenance and inventory logs. * Ascertain priorities and meet deadlines and objectives. * Desire to learn to stay ahead of changing technology. * Perform precision alignments using various methods. * Adhere to all company policies, safety policies, and procedures.  * Assemble, install, and maintain mill piping and related pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, including but not limited to gauges, valves, pressure regulators.  * Perform preventive and predictive maintenance (PMs) on all mill machinery and equipment.  * Clean, lubricate, and repair bearings (roller, spherical, and taper bore), gears, shafts, and other machinery components. * Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, and plasma cutters; ability to MIG, TIG, and Stick weld. * Rigging of rolls and equipment * Ability to fabricate parts or components from blueprints or drawings, or verbal concepts.  * Knowledge of pumps ranging from chemical metering to large centrifugal pumps. * Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by management. Minimum qualifications: * Industrial Maintenance Certification, not required but highly desirable. * A minimum of 3-5 years of multi-skill (millwright/mechanic) experience with an emphasis in controls and electrical systems is preferred. * Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.  * Perform math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiple, and divide all units of measure using whole, fractions and decimals. * Willingness and ability to work 8 hours shifts Monday-Friday, be on a 24 hour on-call rotation (additional pay), rotating weekends, and overtime as needed.  * All candidates must pass pre-employment screening, drug screen, physical and criminal background screening.  Physical demands and Working conditions: * Must be able to lift 50lbs and lift up to 100lbs with assistance.  * Physical demands include standing for long periods of time, walking, using hands and arms to handle, feel or reach, climb, balance, stoop, knee, crouch, and/or crawl in confined spaces. * Exposure to moderate frequent noise and occasional loud noise, dust, heat, cold, dry and damp air.
