Job Description Expereince in shutdowns for an Oil & Gas field with at least 2 shutdown experience and previous PDO approval. Able to work under an extreme time factors and conditions especially during shut down Qualifications Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy Experience Minimum 6 years of inspection experience in construction industries out of which 4 years shall be gained in oil and gas facility construction. Solid understanding of local and international codes and standards eg Certifications MDI shall possess CSWIP 3.1 / AWS for welding inspection or equivalent and certified to ASNT / PCN level II in RT, PT, MT, and UT techniques and BGAS Level 2 or NACE CIP level 2 or equivalent. Additional Information Food, Accommodation & Local Transportation will be provided at site by the client. Site Mobilization Date 11th Jan 2026 & Demobilization on 1st Feb 2026 (4 Weeks) SGS Oman will arrange visa, air tickets, PDO Medical, HSE & H2S as necessary.
Responsibilities
The Multi Discipline Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections during shutdowns in the Oil & Gas field. The role requires working under extreme time factors and conditions.
