JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • A valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential.

  • Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all goods are handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
  • Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
