Description

This role involves making multi drop deliveries throughout the midlands area to our trade customer base. You will also assist loading the van at our factory and unloading the van on site.
The successful candidate will be flexible with excellent time keeping and organisational skills and will also be hardworking with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
The successful candidate must also have a full driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points on their licence and be able to drive a 3.5 tonne van.
It will be a 40 hour week: Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering products in our 3.5 tonne vehicles throughout the midlands
  • Assisting with loading and unloading the van
  • Checking delivery notes and signing off with customer
  • Taking payments for non account customers
  • Regular communication with customers keeping them updated if there are any delays
  • Developing positive relationships with customers

Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the midlands geography preferable
  • Strong transport knowledge preferable
  • Experience in dealing with customers within the commercial sector preferable
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
