The opportunity is to begin your logistics journey as a Luton van driver but the sky being the limit is truly what could happen for the right person.
The role to begin with is for a van driver, delivering and collecting pallets, then after the initial 12-week probationary period you would begin the training to become a class 2 HGV Driver and even going the extra mile after 12 months on from passing the class 2 and moving on to HGV class 1 training.

This role will involve some manual handling work will be required during the working day, so having good physical stamina is key for the role.
Hours of work – Start time between 08:00 & 10:00
Salary – To be agreed

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks.
• Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage.
• A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is essential.

Work Location: In perso

• Safely operate a delivery van or lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies in orders.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
