Description JOB SUMMARY As an estimator you will prepare take-offs, confirm specifications and review multi-family projects with the sales team and Director of Multi-Family Sales. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, and type Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds JOB FUNCTIONS Provide detailed material take-off and estimates based on architectural drawings, interior drawings and specifications. Typical items include door hardware, bath accessories, fire extinguishers, mirrors, wire shelving, and mailboxes Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other project specific information in the sales folder. Create unit lists for Kaba projects. Review updated drawings, ASI’s, and RFI’s for changes Create project submittals. All other duties as assigned Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to analyze workload and complete many different tasks or projects at the same time Makes sound decisions based on experiences and clear information Must be detail-oriented and organized Must be able to read and interpret Construction prints Must be proficient in excel EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of experience in door hardware or construction related field.
