Our Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Supplier Engineering departments. We are seeking individuals to compile existing bundled technical data packages (TDPs). A specialized tool is known STAMP (Supply Chain Technologies for Affordable Manufactured Products) within the Windchill Product Data Management (PDM) system is used to complete this process.
The resulting STAMP packages play a vital role in the procurement process for all Raytheon programs, as they ensure that complete and accurate TDPs are delivered to suppliers, which is essential for the manufacturing and delivery of quality products.
Our Supplier Engineering roles are a valued and integral part of our Supply Chain. Our partnerships with suppliers are paramount to our success in the production and delivery of our products and our mission of delivering for all of those who defend all of us.
This position is a remote role and no travel or supplier engagement is expected.

What You Will Do:

  • STAMP specialists will compile required technical documentation for purchased parts
  • Collaborate with configuration management team to address product structure issues/needs
  • Collaborate with program engineering to resolve issues in TDP readiness and accuracy, providing guidance on solutions.
  • Mentor, guide, Interact and engage with fellow STAMP Team members regularly to stay aligned on priorities, deadlines and to share lessons learned
  • Manage process improvement initiatives
  • Support both domestic and international STAMP efforts and drive STAMPs through workflow completion
  • Review STAMP packages created by others

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering or hardware design engineering
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Experience with PTC Windchill
  • Experience with product data management system(s).
  • Experience creating, reading, navigating, and/or interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience with product configuration management (revision control and/or change incorporation)
  • Experience with typical hardware product documentation types (part and assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, specifications, source control drawings, etc.)
  • Proficient in current TDP and Configuration Management-related protocols
  • Familiar with product structuring, linkage within PDM Windchill
  • Familiar with 3D model types such as Creo, STP, IGS
  • Familiar with CCA TDP construct, drawings and models and PWB artwork
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, purchase orders, requisitions, Mfg Bill of Materials (MBOM), material masters, purchase requisitions.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate professionally with configuration management, engineering, manufacturing/operations and supply chain colleagues to resolve issues that arise during STAMP creation
  • Current DoD Clearance
