We are currently recruiting for a Part Time (32 hours per week) Multi- Property Sales & Marketing Executive to join our Sales team looking after our properties in Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
The role can be based in either Aberdeen or Edinburgh and involves supporting the sales and marketing function for The Residence Inn By Marriott, Edinburgh; The Residence Inn By Marriott, Aberdeen and The Courtyard by Marriott, Aberdeen.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in trade shows and exhibitions is preferred.
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in English.
  • Must have a passion for Sales and self-motivated to achieve individual and team targets by maximizing revenue at every opportunity.
  • Great Customer Service Skills - Must enjoy guest interaction (phone, email and in person), be able to anticipate guest needs, handle objections and complaints whilst maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to present and sell.
  • Essential Computer Skills - Knowledge of Opera is preferred, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Must be a Team Player – Demonstrate experience of building positive working relationships and promoting team spirit.
  • Good background knowledge of Opera PMS and S&C. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales/negotiating skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, set strategies, and establish appropriate action plans.
