FULL TIME, MONDAY – FRIDAY

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our team in a multi-faceted role, primarily focused on Business Development with elements of Parts Advisor responsibilities, based across our branches in Weston-super-Mare, Shepton Mallet, Bridgwater, and Wellington. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and support parts supply operations, while being flexible to assist in other areas of the business as needed. We offer a competitive salary, and candidates with previous experience in a similar role and motor trade experience are highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Motor trade experience is essential
  • Previous experience in business development or parts advisor roles preferred
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Professional conduct in both face-to-face and telephone interactions
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable to varying responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and industry standards
  • Valid driving license (required)

EDUCATION:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant business development or parts advisor experience: 1 year (required)
  • Motor trade experience: Essential
Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand customer base
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with local customers
  • Conduct outbound calls to increase customer awareness and boost sales
  • Upsell products and services to maximize invoice value
  • Represent the company professionally in face-to-face and telephone interactions
  • Parts Advisor Duties:
  • Process orders over the phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy to minimize credits and returns
  • Unpack and manage parts deliveries efficiently

  • Maintain stock organization and ensure timely supply of parts
  • Demonstrate parts knowledge to provide the right solutions to customers
  • Additional Support:
  • Assist in other areas of the business as required, contributing to team success
  • Work collaboratively across branches to support operational needs

  • Customer Service:
