ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MULTI-SERVICE HVAC TECHNICIAN? JOIN OUR MODERNA TEAM AT EQUANS ANZ

Located in Clayton, Melbourne, the successful applicant will have a strong background in HVAC/Mechanical maintenance and operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of the specific requirements of facility operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Much of this available role will involve overseeing and maintaining critical systems during assigned shifts to ensure seamless facility operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HVAC/Mechanical & Refrigeration trade qualifications (required)
  • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in HVAC/Mechanical maintenance.
  • FPA accreditation (desirable).
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment (highly preferred).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
Responsibilities
  • Perform technical work on building services equipment in accordance with Equans safety, quality and customer standards ensuring that the Equans is meeting its objectives and budgets as required.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC/Mechanical systems, but not limited to compressors, pumps, water treatment systems, refrigeration, air conditioning.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Quickly respond to and troubleshoot mechanical faults or breakdowns, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all HVAC/Mechanical systems operate efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical environments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to maintain seamless operations of facility systems.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including shift logs, system performance, and repair tasks.
  • Monitor environmental conditions and mechanical system outputs on BMS/CMMS to align with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
  • Support external contractors during scheduled repairs or maintenance.
  • Stay updated on the latest mechanical technologies and industry trends to maintain best practices.
  • Flexibility to work alternating shifts, may include overtime and participate in on-call roster as needed
