Description Job Title: Multi-Site Teller Department: Retail Banking Reports To: Branch Manager and/or Assistant Branch Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Prepared By: Human Resources PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, Some Saturdays, depending on location. Hours may vary depending on location. General Availability required Monday – Friday 8:15 am – 5:15 pm, Saturday 8:15 am - 12:15 pm The Multi-Site Teller is responsible for accurately processing routine transactions. These transactions include but not limited to, cashing checks, depositing money, and collecting loan payments. This person will answer customer inquiries and provides information on bank products and services. This role requires flexibility, as the Multi-Site Teller will be assigned to different branches based on operational needs. Adhere to all branch related policies and procedures, especially those relating to the security and protection of confidential customer information and cash handling. Receives deposits for, and pays withdrawals from, savings accounts of customers with proper identification and documents. Receives deposits for, and cashes checks from, customer checking and money market accounts, following the cash out procedure. Support branch operations by assisting customers with standard and non-standard teller transactions and assisting with new account opening procedures and account maintenance, as requested. All Branch staff are expected to always conduct themselves professionally and ethically. Processes requests for money orders and cashier’s checks. Redeems US Savings Bonds and process loan payments. Process Canadian foreign exchange transactions to include processing checks through Key Bank. Introduces new services to customers to build customer relationships. Maintain balancing records within the Teller Difference Policy and Procedures. Assist customers with questions pertaining to their relationships with the Bank. Assist customers by verifying balances, receiving change of address requests, or updating their CIF (Customer Information File) records or closing accounts, as requested. Allow customers access to safe deposit boxes, following the specified procedures. Perform additional duties as requested. High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or finance is preferred. Prior experience in customer service role, particularly in a financial institution, is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. High degree of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing transactions and cash handling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work productively as a team player as well as independently. Proficient in basic computer application including MS Office. Experience in banking software preferred. Ability to sell and refer bank products while representing the Bank in a professional and caring manner.
