JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated multi-skilled bar and kitchen worker to join our vibrant team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving beverages & food in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with customers and maintain a welcoming atmosphere will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices. Hold a food level 2 qualification.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding service to guests.
  • Bartending experience.
  • Cooking experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area & kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol, adhering to all relevant food safety and hospitality regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in payments and change given.
  • Assist with stock management, including ordering supplies and inventory checks.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Cook food to a high standard in a high paced environment within a team and lone manning.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, responding promptly to any customer inquiries or concerns.
