OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Body Repairer Painter to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the required standards. The Multi Skilled Body Technician Painter will work both independently and part of a small team, contributing to various projects in residential and commercial settings.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Body Technician and Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Either with a main dealer or independent body shop.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the preparation and application processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Work life balance position.

  • Will be responsible for panel beating, prepping, painting, and stripping/re-fitting tasks to a high standard.
  • Ensuring all repairs are carried out to manufacturers standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
  • Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades.
  • Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment with precision.
  • Ensure that all areas are properly protected from overspray or spills.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain quality standards.
